World Aids Day
HOPE Cape Town Association provides outreach, education and counselling at community level, focussing on HIV/AIDS and TB in the Western Cape. As such, World AIDS day is an important day on our annual calendar. On World AIDS Day 2011 the senior staff and volunteers handed out flyers and lollypops at the Clinical Building, Faculty of Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University as the main office of HOPE Cape Town is situated on the 7th floor of the Clinical Building. This was done to create awareness about HIV/AIDS and the services of HOPE Cape Town Association. We want to specifically thank Julie Seydoux a marketing volunteer who planned and co-ordinated this event for us.
